Sterling Shepard has seen "significantly more" snaps on the outside during the offseason program.
According to PFF, Shepard ran 86.1 percent of his routes out of the slot in 2016 and 83.8 percent last season, but it sounds like his usage will change under new coach Pat Shurmur. "I’ve been doing a lot on the outside," Shepard said. "I feel like I’ve proven that I can play outside and just try to handle my business. I know that I can play outside, and we will soon see."
