Jay Ajayi Wants to Be a 'Workhorse Running Back'

Jay Ajayi said he considers himself a "workhorse running back."

Ajayi received just 70 carries in seven games after joining the Eagles midway through the season, but he took on a bigger role late in the year and had 42 carries in the playoffs. With LeGarrette Blount gone, Ajayi expects that playoff usage will continue. "Obviously, things have gotten a little shaken up in our room," Ajayi said. "I’m excited to get into that lead role."
